Terms of Service for Member Internet Access at The Bangor Makerspace

As a member of The Bangor Makerspace, you are entitled to access the internet while on the premises of our facility. By using our internet service, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

1. Acceptable Use: You agree to use our internet service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will not use our internet service for any unlawful or fraudulent activities, including but not limited to malicious hacking, spamming, or distributing malicious software.
2. Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your personal devices while connected to our internet service. You must ensure that your devices are protected by up-to-date antivirus and firewall software, and you must not engage in any activities that could compromise the security of our network or other users.
3. Prohibited Activities: You will not use our internet service to access or distribute content that is offensive, inappropriate, or illegal, including but not limited to pornographic material, hate speech, or copyrighted content. You will not engage in any activities that could harm or disrupt our network or other users, including but not limited to denial-of-service attacks or excessive bandwidth usage.

6. Termination: We reserve the right to terminate your access to our internet service at any time and for any reason, without notice. We may also suspend or revoke your membership if we determine that you have violated these terms and conditions or engaged in any other inappropriate behavior while on our premises.
